YOUR NORDIC WORD OF THE WEEK: SKIDVALLA- Swedish for ski wax
Parent and Volunteer Coach Jack Bell will be organizing the Thursday "Extra" practice for those interested in further training and technique geared towards racing.
Last week was a big success with a key number of interested kids joining in for a run at Grafton Ponds.
For this Thursday Jack will meet at the Madame Sherri Forest Trailhead in Chesterfield, NH at 3:30 pm. Depending on how many kids, vehicles, and adult runners/hikers we have there are a number of routes we can do. Jack will have room for 4 kids in his vehicle. Please be intouch with Jack by email (above) if you have any questions.
We can't thank Jack enough for stepping in to offer this huge added opportunity for our program!

Attached here are directions and a weblink about the forest:
The Madame Sherri Forest is located on the Gulf Road. Coming from the east on Rt. 9 take Rt. 63 south through Chesterfield Village past the town hall. At approx. 1.6 miles from Rt. 9 take a right on Stage Rd. and then shortly after bear left onto Castle Rd. Castle Rd will join Gulf Rd and continues to the Madame Sherri Forest approx. 2.6 miles from Rt. 63. The entrance on the left is notable for a red steel gate. From the west take a right just after the Riverside Store along the Connecticut River. Gulf Rd. bears quickly off to the left and continues approx. 2.2 miles to the forest entrance.
