Hi All-

After a great race on Friday at Viking, congrats to all racers for a fine and fast race! We are eagerly anticipating our turn to host a BKL race this Sunday!

This is our first Putney BKL sponsored race of the season and several teams will be joining us. The scheduled format is classic.

We hope to put together a fantastic events for all these kids. To do so we need help from parents and out steadfast supporters!

Please take a look at the listing of race related tasks and jobs below. Registration, Start/Finish Marshall, Timers, Bake Sale Coordinator x2. Send Eric an email right away if you are willing to help with something particular or if you can held counted on to help as needed while the race event progresses!

Importantly, we are looking for two volunteers to head-up a bake sale to further support our team and club practices/events.  Cookies, Muffins, PB&J sandwiches, Apple / Orange slices, Water, Hot cider, Hot chocolate....etc

RACE Details:

We are planning to hold the race (to start with Lollipoppers at 10am) at Grafton Ponds

Where: Grafton Ponds

When: Sunday Jan 20th

Please arrive early for a warm up. Plan on arriving 930 at the latest.

Start:10am start for Lollipoppers with other grades following in sequence. We should have races and ribbons concluded by 12:30pm.

What:Classic- course and starting format to be determined.

Waxing:We will be waxing at the Putney School on Saturday evening. Please email if interested in attending. More details to follow.

It is our great hope that many from our large group of skiers will turn out for this event!  This will be is such a great opportunity to see a race if you haven't before, participate if you are curious, or just come out and cheer on teammates and friends!  There may even be time for some fun skiing and jumping once the races conclude!

Let's put together a fantastic event for all these kids. To do so, we need help from parents and our steadfast supporters!
