Take a look at all the upcoming events!

Eric, Hans, and the Volunteer Coaches

Winter is in full swing and the NENSA Youth Calendar is filled with events across New England. Find one near you or travel to a new center and meet some new skiers! The NENSA Fox will be at Strafford Kids Ski Day on Saturday and the Stowe Mini-Marathon on Sunday. Hope to see your smiling faces this weekend!

Also, online registration is open for the 8th Annual Mountain Top Paintball Biathlon on Sunday, January 27th. There are races for all BKL skiers, a stellar post-event feed, great prizes, and a stocked raffle. Click here to sign up now! Don't worry if you've never shot a paintball gun, there's plenty of time for instruction and practice.

Worried about waxing your skis? Don’t forget about the Swix Wax Wizard. Click here to figure out what waxes to use for both glide and kick.

Here's what's going on in the next two weeks in the NE BKL World...

Frost Mountain Nordic Club BKL Race on Sunday, January 13, 2013

Join Frost Mountain Nordic at Rikert Nordic Center in Ripton, Vermont for their annual club race. It will be a classic race with distances ranging from 1-4k depending on age. They would love to see skiers from other clubs! Click here for more information.

Stowe Mini-Marathon on Sunday, January 13, 2013

The Stowe Mini-Marathon is right around the corner; a little more than two weeks until we will be gliding through the magical woods in Stowe searching for blueberry soup and gingerbread cookies. This event is a fun family tour (not a race) geared to BKL skiers and their families with food stops that fuel your adventure further than you thought you could go! Join us for the chili feed at end and celebrate with commemorative souvenirs for all kid finishers. Choose your distance: 25K, 15K, and 6K for Lollipoppers, the terrain is best suited to classical skiing. Hope to see you there! At Great Glen the day will include Steve’s Awesome Obstacle Course, Team Sprint Relays, group games, treats to eat at the Cabin, and a lollipop race for the youngest skiers.
